Mebar Tsho (Burning Lake) — Bumthang, Bhutan
Mebar Tsho is not a lake but a gorge in the river Tang Chhu using the tang valley. Pema Lingpa is said to have dived into the river holding a burning butter lamp and resurfaced with the lamp still burning and holding a chest and a scroll of paper.
