Tamshing Lhakhang — Bumthang, Bhutan
Tamshing Lhakhang is the most important Nyingmapa temple in Bumthang. It was built in 1501 by Terton Pema Lingpa, the reincarnation of Guru Rinpoche. The temple contains ancient religious paintings (thangkas) and creates a direct connection to the famous saint.
