Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Bhutan for this unique spiritual journey! Designed for couples seeking blessings for conception, this tour centers on Chimi Lhakhang, temple of the Divine Madman. Arrive in Paro, transfer to hotel. Rest and adjust to altitude. Evening: Orientation about Drukpa Kunley (Divine Madman), the 15th century lama who used unconventional methods to teach Buddhism - songs, humor, sex, and alcohol. His blessing is sought for fertility. Overnight: Paro
Day 2: Paro to Punakha
Drive to Punakha valley (3 hours), the warm, fertile valley associated with fertility and abundance. Visit Punakha Dzong, the winter home of Bhutan's central monk body. The massive fortress sits at the confluence of two rivers - the union of male and female energies. Afternoon at leisure to relax in your hotel. Rest is important for the blessing ceremony tomorrow. Day 3: The Blessing
Morning walk through rice paddies to Chimi Lhakhang (30 minutes). The fertility temple sits atop a small hill surrounded by farmland. Phallus symbols are painted everywhere - on walls, hanging from roofs. This isn't crude but rather celebrates the life-creating force. The Divine Madman used phallus symbols to bless and break taboos. Inside the temple, meet the resident lama who performs the special fertility puja (blessing ceremony). The ceremony includes prayers, offerings, and ritual blessing with a wooden phallus - a sacred object kept in the temple. The lama provides a blessed name for you
Day 4: Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten
Morning hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, another power site. This four-story temple was built to bring peace and remove obstacles. Climb through the chorten's levels, each dedicated to different deities. Make offerings and prayers for a healthy conception and pregnancy. The hike through farmland and forest is gentle and pleasant. Fertility in nature is abundant here - flowering plants, rice paddies, birdsong. Day 5: Return to Paro

Day 6: Departure
